Another Record Month of Reports!
Every month this year has had more reports posted than the last year's monthly posted reports. But May was kind a cool because readers posted 902 reports! I can remember it would take a YEAR to post that many reports "back in the day".
Thanks to all the readers that sent in fishing reports - keep them coming - next year maybe we'll break 1,000 in one month!

Don't I wish, but we have a very predictable readership and report submission pattern. Reports peak every year in May due to Opening Day, then gradually decline. We have ten years of reports graphed out and it's pretty cool how the patterns have established themselves.

I can't think of a better reason to go fishing (except catching)than to write a report for WL.com.
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook
He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

WOW! Over 900 reports. That is awesome. I have notice how hard it is to keep up with all the reports these day.

yup, I am getting really excited about the derby and BBQ. Very much looking forward to meeting members. I'm so glad we moved it to July!

Registered Forum Members - over 8,000!
And... almost 80,000 posts !.
Lot's of new faces around here considering we started the year at 3,600 or so.

Well, that is what happens when people talk. I tend to bring WL into the conversation when talking to the friendly folks I meet on the water.Mike Carey wrote:OK, guess this is going to turn into an ongoing thread of milestones. This month's is:

This might be seen as littering, but whatever. Sue me. I went to Pine Lake today and put a WL.com business card on EVERY DOCK on the lake. I feel quite proud about rowing around the lake without passing out in 100+ degrees.
